Travel News: New Program Offers Supercar Adventure Tours
From Ferrari racecar driver Jean Paul Libert comes a trio of adventure tours for those who like their cars as exotic as possible. Gift certificates available!

From funky campervans to the rarest of sports cars, innovative companies are looking for ways to get travel aficionados and automotive enthusiasts behind the wheel of cars they never imagined themselves driving. Entering the category of "adventure driving" is a new program called DrivingXllence from Delaware-based World Class Driving.
"It has been my dream to share my Ferrari racing experience with like-minded enthusiasts and to create an elite driver's program," says Jean Paul Libert, founder of World Class Driving.
Libert has raced in The 24 Hours of LeMans a total of 13 times. He placed sixth in 1982 driving a Ferrari BB512.
"The inaugural DrivingXllence experience will be a celebration of the Ferrari marque--an incredible day of driving just as Enzo Ferrari intended," he says.
DrivingXllence is initially offering three programs:
The Epic Drive program offers enthusiasts the opportunity to experience four of the world's finest exotic supercars on 150 miles of open road for four hours of "pure driving fun and excitement," according to the company.
The Adrenaline Nights program gives Ferrari fans the opportunity to test their skills during a night of track driving under the lights at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
And the Prestige Adventure program offers what the company describes as "the ultimate driving experience." Libert's team takes drivers to upscale European and North American locales for up to a week of VIP treatment and adventure aboard a fleet of new Ferraris.
"Our events give participants 'real' time behind the wheel," says Jason Altzman, DrivingXllence co-founder. "We pride ourselves on keeping our groups small--five drivers for our Epic tour, max.
