to NASCAR and the Sales Tax Exemption Affidavit that is signed by the late Bill France Sr. of NASCAR after taking delivery in Daytona Beach, Florida. The "icing on the documentation cake" is an original NASCAR picture of the car doing advertising laps at Rockingham, North Carolina showing the rear view and license plate. That same plate number is on the original Certificate of Title giving this car bulletproof documentation, the lack of a build sheet notwithstanding! (The seller of the previously mentioned Charlotte car stated that car was the only numbers matching car with an ownership chain documented back to the original owner, but this was clearly a misrepresentation of the facts, possibly unintentional.)

Besides the Charlotte car, of the seven original cars, just three remain, the third being the Daytona Pace Car, currently owned by Bruce and Joy Still from Blue Ridge, Georgia. While there is a certain appeal and value attached to documented COPO cars, in reality, the seven NASCAR Camaro Pace Cars are among the rarest in the Camaro universe and are the Holy Grail among Camaro fans.
