AMC re-engineered the Jeep Commando for 1972, introducing a larger engine in a revamped frame and updating the Jeep's aging cosmetics. Finished in bright orange with a white top and tonneau cover, this 1973 Commando four-wheel-drive pickup showcases that new generation with its restyled front grille, chromed bumpers and wheel covers, and whitewall tires. An American Motors-sourced 258 CI inline-six engine, column-shifted automatic, and four-wheel drive give it the handling and climbing power for which the marque became famous.

Lot number S155
