and informal. This informality carries over to the way the cars are segmented, the most interesting of which was the "What Were They Thinking" class that included the chassis of the rear-engined 1964 Corvette XP-819 concept car (page 26), a factory-built two-seat 1965 Mustang prototype (page 30), and a 1973 Fascination two-door sedan (page 34). The class was judged by Hurley Hayward and Automobile's editor, Jean Jennings.

The collection of 22 Harry Miller race cars were clearly a crowd favorite, drawing huge crowds. As one of the honored marques, the 1963 Corvette Sting Ray was well represented with a number of historic Z06 race cars (page 24) along with the steel-bodied Pininfarina Rondine concept car (page 25). And with 2013 marking the 50th anniversary of the introduction of the iconic 911, the 911 field included a prototype 1963 901 and an early production 1964 901 (page 27). The 911 was introduced at the 1963 Frankfurt Auto Show as the Type 901. But Peugeot forced Porsche to change the 0 to a 1 as it claimed the rights to model numbers with zero as the middle number.

As the gallery of images that follows clearly illustrates, this was an exceptional field. One of the highlights of the day's activities was when 102-year-old Margaret Dunning drove her 1930 Packard 740 roadster (page 11) to the awards table to receive a well-deserved People's Choice award.

This year the event benefited the Community Hospice of Northeast Florida. With packed fairways on Sunday, we are certain that the this worthy charity will benefit from the efforts of Bill Warner and his team of dedicated organizers and volunteers.
