Situated on Spain's southernmost coast, the Costa del Sol is part of the autonomous community of Andalusia. The author chose two destinations with small-town appeal, Nerja (A) and La Hurradura (B), as his temporary homes, followed by Marbella (C) for a more upscale experience.
