As part of the Cove Haven Entertainment Resorts group, Paradise Stream's fellow properties in the Poconos include the Cove Haven Resort, opened in 1958. The Cove Haven's claim to fame is that it introduced the world to the heart-shaped "Sweetheart Tub" in 1963. The "Sweetheart Tub" was showcased in a 1971 issue of Life magazine in which the Poconos were treated to the well-deserved tag, "Honeymoon Capital of the World."

Getting into the spirit, we treated ourselves to the Champagne Tower by Cleopatra suite. The Towers open up into a living room with fireplace and glass walls that look into the private pool. Stairs along the side of the pool lead down to a two-person sauna. Upstairs are the sleeping quarters with prerequisite large round bed. Mirrors and windows enhance the airy, spacious atmosphere.

And then there's the enormous champagne glass--a seven-foot-high champagne glass, to be precise. Accessible through the upper-level bathroom, this acrylic fixture is actually a hot tub. It lords over the living room, leaving one feeling Lilliputian in size (see photograph on previous page).

Since its resorts first opened more than half a century ago, the Cove Haven properties have prided themselves on offering numerous indoor and outdoor activities for their guests. Today, this includes an "all-inclusive" food arrangement (breakfast and dinner) and live entertainment. It's like
