Over the event's six-year history, it has been hosted at four different venues in the Palm Springs area. This year found enthusiasts and competitors gathering on the grounds of the Desert Princess Country Club and the Doral Desert Princess Resort in Cathedral City. Merrigan was pleased with the venue and hopes to make it the event's permanent home.
The Sunday concours d'elegance was preceded by week-long vintage racing at nearby Chuckwalla Valley Raceway and a Saturday classic car tour through the mountains surrounding Palm Springs.
More information, including the schedule for the 2014 event, is available on the Desert Classic Concours d'Elegance website.
