In the 1960s, Fuji Heavy Industries had a warehouse full of these Rabbit scooters in New York, or so the story goes. A salesman named Malcolm Bricklin sold the whole lot of scooters, impressing Fuji executives so much the company provided him with the vehicles to launch Subaru of America. The rare (one of 528) Rabbit is parked next to the rarer (one of 100) Briggs and Stratton Motorwheel.
