Another car that caught his sharp eye was Ed Mazula's 1962 AC Aceca coupe (Page 26) that competed in the hotly contested Cobra class. The winner of the sponsoring San Marino Rotary Club Award was presented to John Ellison for his 1967 Rolls-Royce Phantom V state limousine (Page 32) once owned by Nicolae Ceauşescu, the former Romanian dictator.

My own favorite? The 1968 Jaguar E-Type coupe owned by Frank Tillman (Page 33).

Though only two years old, this event already boasts an exceptional field, and we're excited to watch the San Marino Motor Classic continue to grow. Next year's show will be Sunday 9 June 2013.
