While we sample the wares, more people fill the tasting room, many of them evidently also following the Berks Wine Trail. As we load up the black Town & Country, another group files into their rented Mercury Grand Marquis limo. I know our paths will cross again.

Following the GPS, our Sherpa on this trek, we reach Pinnacle Ridge (B) in Kutztown. Housed in the bottom floor of an old barn, Pinnacle's tasting room takes up about a third of the room, with rows of casks filling the rest. The unexpectedly busy morning requires everyone on staff to help with the tastings. Our host turns out to be Brad, the vineyard's owner, assisted by Amy.
Pinnacle's room is less polished than the previous winery but full of character. And that character flows into the winery's offerings. The tasting room features 22 varieties, many displayed with their various awards and interesting food-pairing ideas. "Serve with popcorn." "Sip with feet up while dad cooks at the grill!" Featured wines include the bubbly Blanc de Blanc and the sweet Chambourcin Rosé.
Shortly after we arrive at Pinnacle Ridge, the Mercury limo pulls into the parking lot. Its four wine-touring couples join the bachelorette party already enjoying the potables.

A few miles away, Blair Vineyards (C) overlooks the rolling hills of the Blue Mountains. With 20 acres of vines, the property just screams winery. Blair organizes many events in addition to tastings. On the day of our tour, a band plays in front of a few dozen people relaxing in the early summer morning sun.
Margaritas and sangrias are offered for sale on a side table, but we're here to taste the vino. Fourteen varieties are available to tempt our taste buds and olfactory senses. Jane and Allison lead us through the menu, where our
