Fifty years ago, on 15 May, 1963, at a well-publicized preview at the Waldorf Astoria, Chrysler introduced its revolutionary Ghia-bodied Turbine Car. Dubbed the Bronze Blowtorch, it was heralded by its maker and many experts as the Car of the Future.
